Why the Ospey bag is number 1 in our comparison:

Well, in practice, the three compartments are just the right balance. All the necessary straps are present, the side pockets are perfect, and the ventral pocket system linked to the upper straps is very clever. The breathable back is comfortable. As you can see, I’m a fan.

The Peak Design backpack is a little big for a small man. Good news, the 30L model is out!
Which bag will keep you cool?
Choose a bag whose design allows for air circulation between the bag and the back. This is the case with our Osprey bag.

Shoulder straps can also be designed to prevent perspiration.

Last but not least, choose close-fitting garments made from cotton, wool or linen to avoid excessive perspiration.

Size and airline compatibility:
– Make sure your backpack complies with the carry-on baggage dimensions allowed by airlines. In general, maximum dimensions are around 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm.

Compartments and organization:
– Opt for a bag with several compartments to facilitate organization. A laptop compartment is often very practical.

– Lockable zippers and hidden pockets can protect your valuables.
– TSA (Transportation Security Administration) compatible

Materials and durability:
– Choose resistant, waterproof materials to protect your belongings from the elements and rough handling.
Which bag for back pain?
The bags we recommend have everything you need to avoid back problems. However, here are a few tips:

Padded shoulder straps
Adjusted chest strap (above the chest)
Use of waist belt to improve weight distribution (herniated discs)
Keep heavy objects close to the body
Organization of sharp objects on the outside (to avoid pressure points against the back)
Adjust straps for better posture
Avoid exceeding 15% of body weight, never exceed 20%.
